The NTZS tournaments for the veterans and recreational players ranking for the 2025/2026 season have concluded. Our players performed excellently

In the under-39 category, Danijel Kocjančič won 1st place, while Dušan Pakovič finished 3rd.

In the under-39 doubles category, Dušan Paković and Edi Kocjančič won, while Daniel Kocjančič, paired with Tjaš Tence, finished second.

In the 65–69 category, Iztok Čehovin achieved 4th place.

In the under-39 category, Deni Kocjančič finished 4th.

Recreational gaming TT

Anyone who loves table tennis and wants to get some exercise will be gladly welcomed into a very friendly group of recreational table tennis players. Gender, age, colour, religion, nationality - it doesn't matter! The only thing that counts is your good will and your joy of playing NT. If you are a good player(s), maybe you will show others something, if you are not, others will show you something.

Come, try and see for yourself every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 20:00 to 22:00. Please wear suitable sports footwear (trainers), everything else is provided by the club.

Regional School Table Tennis Competition 2016

The crowd of children at Škofije on 24.2.2016 indicated that something was happening here. And it really happened - the regional table tennis competition in the 2015/16 school year for pupils from primary schools in the Municipality of Koper and the Municipality of Izola. 63 pupils from 8 primary schools participated (Elvira Vatovec - Prade, Aleš Bebler Primož - Hrvatini, Primary School Koper, Primary School Šmarje, Pier Paolo Vergerio il Vecchio - Koper, Livade - Izola, Oskar Kovačič - Škofije and Vojke Šmuc - Izola).

In the team part of the competition (4 teams), the Primary School Livade Izola won the competition (6 points; 3 wins / no losses), while the other 3 teams finished the competition with 1 win and 2 losses (all 2 points). The final ranking was decided by the coefficient of won/lost sets: 1st place Primary School Livade Izola, 2nd place Primary School Aleš Bebler Primož Hrvatini (5/4), 3rd place Primary School Koper (5/5) and 4th place Primary School Oskar Kovačič Škofije (4/5).

The individual competition was held in three categories (separate for male and female students): A: 1st-9th grade (above 80 points on the NTZS scale), B: 1st-5th grade (above 80 points on the NTZS scale), C: 6th-9th grade (above 80 points on the NTZS scale).

◊ Girls (2): 1. Zala Vidmar, 2. Serbuš Pifna Nives (both PS Koper).
Group C:
◊ Boys (29): 1. Palčič Valdi (PS Livade), 2. Žigon Aljaž (PS Škofije), 3. Aksonov Danylo (PS Koper ).

From the Pannonian to the Adriatic Sea

Pucon's "deers" Benkovič Robi, Železen Ervin, Vratarič Karel, Zadravec Matej, Uzelac Zdenko and Ficko Jože came to the Coast on 2.4.2011, where they played a friendly match with NTK Škofije players (Iacono Giovanni, Liubicich Gino, Derganz Diego, Dapreto Stefano, Marušič Marjan, Žigon Goran, Omerzelj Marjan and Kramer Jure). A great meeting with lots of good points, but above all lots of good humour and fun.

Ilirija on the Coast

On 6 November 2010, a strong team of recreational players from Ilirija visited us. The five invited guests turned in an excellent performance at the gaming tables, as well as at the communal "conference" table in the local pub. Horvat Edo, Supanič Bojan, Merc Miran, Trampuž Dušan and Dular Borut (their hidden weapon) crossed rackets with the Marušič brothers (Uroš and Marjan), Trbovc Drago and Omerzelj Marjan. After three hours of 16 excellent and intense singles matches and 12 even better doubles matches, the exhausted and dehydrated players of both teams went together to the local pub to recover. The competition record was blown away by a stormy wind in Škofije, so this result was lost. But the only real result of the meeting remained - the broadening and deepening of friendship.
